Pumpkins

Yes dear performer’s it’s fall.  When September started, I was told to “Put the Pumpkins down, move away from the pumpkins 🙂 ”  But today it is definitely okay to buy some pumpkins…It’s cloudy with rain and chilly.

This is my favorite time of year.  This is when I wish I lived in New England.  We love, love, love all of the fall colors.  It is beautius, that’s my made up word for beautiful.  There is a calmness, very cerebral feel to the fall.  The weather usually cooperates til Halloween, before you feel those north winds.

Last year we were out East for the Artist’s birthday.  It was glorious.  That’s when he painted The Portland Headlight.  We finally went up to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.  We almost got to experience a Noreaster, but close enough.

Here are just a few of the pictures.  Of course the top one is The Portland Headlight.  The next one is down in the Old Port of Portland, ME and of course there is the Artist in front of the Headlight.

Here is his picture of  Pumpkins.  It is framed and an original and it’s for sale.  It’s really a beautiful painting.  Looks beautius on the mantel.  It’s great being married to an artist !!
